Rally A Move Inc. ("Rally A Move," "RAM," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at rallyamove.com, the Rally A Move app on the web and in app stores, our text message program, and the waitlist you may have joined (together, our "services"). This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect only what you provide in the signup form:
- Your name and email address.
- Optional details you choose to share: your town or ZIP code, the sport you play, the role that best describes you, and how you found us.
- Whether you agreed to receive updates from us.
When you use the Rally A Move app, we collect the information you give us to create your account and take part in events, such as your name, email address, date of birth (to confirm you are 18 or older), the events and divisions you enter, your partners and teams, your ratings, and your scores and results. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card number.
When you choose to receive text messages, we collect your mobile phone number, a record of your consent (when you gave it, how, and the wording you agreed to), any change to that choice (including replies such as STOP and START), and the messages we send you and their delivery status.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on the waitlist page.
How we use your information
- To provide our services: run your account, your entries and payments, schedules, court calls, scores and results.
- To send the messages you asked for, by email, push notification, in the app, or by text if you turned texts on.
- To let you know when Rally A Move launches and to send founding member updates, if you opted in.
- To keep our services safe, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet our legal obligations.
- To understand which communities and roles are interested, so we can improve what we build.
- To respond to you if you contact us.
Text messages (SMS)
Texts from Rally A Move are optional. You turn them on yourself by checking an unchecked box in the app and confirming your mobile number with a one-time code. Entering an event or using the app never requires texts. Full details are in our SMS Terms.
- We use your mobile number only to send the texts you agreed to: match calls, score confirmations, event reminders and updates from event organizers, safety alerts such as weather stops, and verification codes.
- We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number, or your text message opt-in and consent, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
- We share your mobile number and the text of each message only with the messaging provider that delivers our texts and with the mobile carriers that carry them, only to deliver your messages.
- You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP, or by turning texts off in the app. Reply HELP for help.
- Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies with your activity.
How we store and share information
Your information is stored in secure databases and is accessible only to Rally A Move and the service providers who help us operate (for example, our hosting, database, payment, email, push notification and text message providers), who may process it only on our behalf. Event organizers you enter with see what they need to run their event, such as your name, division, partner and contact for the event. Results and standings you take part in may be shown publicly. We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of our players, staff and services.
Marketing emails
If you opted in, we will email you launch news and founding member updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing info@rallyamove.com.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you at any time by emailing info@rallyamove.com, and we will honor your request as the law allows. You can also delete your account from inside the app, and turn texts, push notifications and marketing emails on or off at any time.
Adults only
Rally A Move's app and text messages are for adults 18 and older, and we confirm your age when you create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Rally A Move grows. When we do, we will revise the date above, and for material changes we will let you know.
