SMS Terms

These terms apply to text messages (SMS) sent by Rally A Move Inc. ("Rally A Move," "RAM," "we," "us," or "our") as part of the Rally A Move program for pickleball and tennis players, tournaments and clubs.

What we text

If you turn texts on, we send messages about the events you take part in:

Match calls: when and where to play, and which court.
Score confirmations: confirming a score you or your opponent reported, including replies you send back.
Event reminders, schedule changes and updates from the organizers of events you entered.
Safety alerts, such as weather stops and venue closures.
One-time verification codes to confirm your mobile number.

We do not send marketing or promotional texts through this program.

How you sign up

Texts are always your choice, and entering an event never requires them. When you enter an event in the Rally A Move app, you can check this box, which is never checked for you:

Optional. Not required to enter. By checking this box, you agree to receive text messages from Rally A Move about the events you enter, including verification codes. Msg frequency varies. Msg and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to stop. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.

You can also turn texts on in your account settings, with the same wording. We then text a 6-digit code to the number you give us:

Your Rally A Move code is 482913. It works for 10 minutes. Do not share this code.

Texts start only after you enter that code, so we know the number is yours. We then send one message confirming that texts are on:

How often

Message frequency varies with your activity. Most texts come on event days; you may receive several messages for each match you play, plus reminders before an event. We do not send routine texts between 9 PM and 8 AM, except live match calls during an event and safety alerts.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Rally A Move does not charge you for texts. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply to messages you send and receive.

How to stop

Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT) to any of our texts to stop all texts from Rally A Move, including safety alerts. We will send one message confirming that texts are off:

You won't get texts from RAM, including safety alerts. Those still come by push and email. Reply START to turn texts back on.

You can also turn texts off at any time in your account settings. To start again, reply START (or UNSTOP), and we will confirm that texts are back on:

Texts from RAM are back on. Reply HELP for help or STOP to stop all texts.

How to get help

Your privacy

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number, or your text message opt-in and consent, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share your number only with our messaging provider and the mobile carriers, only to deliver your messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

Who can sign up

Texts are for adults 18 and older who are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number they give us. If you change or give up your number, please turn texts off or update your number in the app first.

Delivery

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts depend on your carrier and coverage, so important event information is also shown in the app and, where you allow it, sent by push notification or email.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will revise the date above, and for material changes we will let you know.
